Premier Padel Asuncion P2: Galan/Chingotto Win Fourth Title of 2025

Premier Padel Asuncion P2: Galan/Chingotto Win Fourth Title of 2025

Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello dropped to Alejandro Galan and Federico Chingotto for the third time this season at the P2 Asuncion. The Spanish-Argentine duo repeated their Paraguay title from a year ago, locking in their fourth trophy of the current campaign.

Beating the world number one pair three times in a single season is not a coincidence. Galan and Chingotto are reading Coello's left side more aggressively than any other team on tour, and Chingotto's bandeja control under pressure is currently at a different level from what we saw in 2023.

On the women's side, Josemaria and Gonzalez kept their own streak alive with a fourth consecutive title. Four straight trophies is the kind of run that puts them in the conversation with the dominant women's pairs of the last decade on the World Padel Tour.

For fans tracking the Premier Padel standings, the gap at the top is tightening on the men's side while Josemaria/Gonzalez are pulling away from the rest of the women's field. Asuncion confirmed two very different narratives in one weekend.

Verdict: Chingalan are the form pair of 2025. Coello and Tapia need a tactical answer fast, or this season slips further away from them.
