Coello and Tapia Head to Asunción P2 After Brussels Final Loss

Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia arrive at the Premier Padel P2 in Asunción under real pressure. The world number ones lost the Brussels final and now face a week where a poor result would seriously dent their ranking lead.
The Brussels defeat was not just a confidence hit. It exposed some cracks in their left-side communication, particularly on high balls near the glass. Opponents at this level will have watched the footage and they will come prepared to exploit exactly that.
Asunción is not a neutral venue for them either. The altitude and heat in Paraguay change ball behavior noticeably, adding pace off the back glass that rewards aggressive teams. Pairs like Di Nenno/Chingotto or Lebrón/Galán will feel comfortable in those conditions.
Coello and Tapia still hold the strongest points total on the Premier Padel circuit, but the gap is not comfortable enough to cruise through a P2 with a quarter-final exit. Every round matters right now.
Tough week ahead. They have the quality to win it, but they cannot afford another final slip.
